Terms of Service

Please read my TOS thoroughly. These terms apply to private commissions only. This information is NOT applicable to commercial work. Failure to comply with these terms will result in the commissioner being blacklisted.

General Information

  • This is for a digital service. No physical goods will be mailed.

  • All artwork will include my watermark or signature that the commissioner is not allowed to remove.

  • Full rights to the artwork belong to me, Turtle, the artist. Commissioned images must not be claimed as your own, traced, or used as bases. Credit must be given if posted.

  • I have the right to post your commission to my social media with reference to you as the commissioner.

  • You, the client, may not use commissioned pieces for commercial use (make merchandise, print in a published work, etc.) whether for real or digital currency.

  • I am a full-time college student. Please have patience with me when commissioning. Commissions are usually started within 1-4 weeks after the payment is made. If there is any kind of hold-up, I will reach out to you to let you know.

  • I reserve the right to decline any order that I do not feel comfortable with. Below are the guidelines for my Do’s and Don’ts.

  • I have no interest in nor will I make any artworks regarding NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), cryptocurrency, blockchain-related technology, or anything related. Do not use my artwork for such.

Dos and Don'ts

Dos

  • Humans (animal ears, tails, and horns are okay)

  • Real people (in my own style)

  • Fanart (though I reserve the right to decline if it is not a fandom I am familiar/comfortable with)

  • Original Characters

  • Ship art (however, I am currently only offering this to close friends or commissioners I am familiar with)

  • Animals

Don'ts

  • Furries/Anthros

  • NSFW

  • Hateful art

  • Semi-realism, realism, and imitation of another artist’s style

  • Intense gore (a little blood, wounds, scars, and angst is fine)

  • Mechas/Heavy armor

  • Complex details or scenes that may be above my current skill level. If you aren’t sure where your idea falls, contact me before commissioning and we can talk.

Payment

  • All prices are provided in USD.

  • Payments will be made either through PayPal or by donating to my Ko-fi.

  • Simple sketches will be paid upfront.

  • All other commissions will require 50% payment upfront and 50% after the commission is finished.

  • Please wait for me to contact you that your slot is secured before making any payments.

What I Offer

Additional information can be found here
Examples can be found in my portfolio

  • Styles:

Sketch - all of my artwork is delivered in this format. They do not have clean lineart, as I do not offer this unless it is commissioned.
Flat colors - artwork that is not shaded or lined
Full colors - artwork that is fully shaded but not lined
Full painting - artwork that is fully shaded and is lined in colors to match
Lineart - artwork that is cleaned and lined in the traditional "black ink" look. In order to receive this, you must commission it (along with a color style if you wish to have both.)

  • Composition

Headshot - artwork that feature the character from the bust up
Half-Body or 3/4 Body - artwork that features the character from the waist or legs up
Full-Body - artwork that features the full body of the characters

Process

  • You will be notified when I begin working on your commission. During the sketching process, you can still refund your commission (see Refunds and Cancellations below).

  • WIPs (Work(s) In Progress) will be provided for you to review as I work.

  • You may only request illustration changes (such as a change in pose or expression) during the sketching process unless a mistake has been made on my part.

  • For fully colored commissions, I will show you a flat color version for you to color check. If any of the colors seem off, this is your opportunity to tell me as I will not be making alterations after the process of shading has begun.

  • Alterations after the commission has been completed will incur a fee unless a mistake has been made on my part and the changes are required to fit with the original reference.

  • Commissions are usually started within 1-4 weeks after payment is made. It can take anywhere from 1 week to 1 month for me to complete your commission once started. It is never my intention to deliberately stall a commission, but school, health, and other aspects of life do sometimes get in the way. As I said before, please have patience with me.

  • When the commission is finished, it will be emailed to you so you can have the full resolution image. Please be sure to provide your email either in the form or in a DM to me so I can keep track of it.

Refunds and Cancellations

  • You are allowed a 50% refund after I have started the commission. However, after the sketch has been completed, you are no longer allowed a refund.

  • If, for whatever reason, I am unable to start your commission, you will receive a full refund.

  • If you cancel your order before the commission is started, you will receive a full refund.

  • No refund will be allowed after the sketch is completed.

Thank you for your interest in my commissions! After reading the Terms of Service, you may return to the home page and fill out a commission form. Or, if you’re interested in more examples of my art, don’t forget to check out my portfolio! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.
